October 2, 2017

It’s now October and time to go back for my final year of uni, after having over a year off on an industry placement! My style is generally pretty casual (I don’t think you can ever go wrong with jeans a t shirt and trainers personally!) so I thought I’d write this post on the type of outfit I would wear on an usual day at uni, work or on my days off.

So, as it’s now getting into Autumn I’m really liking the idea of long sleeved t-shirts, they’re warmer, comfy and look pretty good so there’s not much to dislike! I’m a sucker for a white t-shirt because they just go with so much, and the added detail of the slogan at the side makes it a bit more interesting! This top is from Urban Outfitters and can be found on their website here .

I’m usually a black, white, grey and denim kind of girl but I’m really loving all of the red thats coming through at the moment and when I saw this Zara jacket I just had to have it! You can find it on their website here. I think it’s perfect weather at the moment for leather jackets so I’m trying to get the most wear out of this one as possible up until it gets colder. After that, it’s still perfect for on evenings or nights out! This is definitely the stand out statement piece in my wardrobe at the moment.

These blue mom jeans are also from Zara, see here and I thought they were a reasonable price at £25.99! I sometimes struggle to find jeans that fit me well but I think these are pretty flattering so I was really happy with my purchase. I always think ‘Mom’ fit jeans  are a bit comfier and more casual than skinny jeans, so will be perfect for days at uni.

I was bought this Fjallraven backpack for my birthday (I sent the link to my boyfriend Jake and kindly requested he got me that exact one) as I just loved the all black detailing on the logo in comparison to the more traditional white and red logo. This bag is really practical for everyday use, but especially going back to uni and can fit an awful lot in it! Stylish and practical, winner! It can still be bought from the Fjallraven website, see here.

If you don’t already own a pair of clarks originals, you’re missing out! Whether it’s the Desert boots, Wallabees or Trigenic Flex’s, Clark’s originals are classics that will last you years. Plus, they’re always good quality and super comfy so are worth the investment. These Trigenic Flex trainers are my go to’s at the moment. I managed to pick them up in the sale so this style is no longer available online, but they have a whole range on their website, see here.

So that’s it for my ‘Keeping It Casual’ outfit post! I hope you’ve enjoyed it.
