Being a fashion blogger, I often feel the need to buy new clothes to produce new content and stay relevant. But buying clothes= money and it can be challenging to keep up when you’re on a budget. I’m going to write a post on the topic soon but for now I wanted to tell you about a new retailer I’ve come across called Black Betty. For those of you on a budget, and even those who aren’t, you need to check out this site!
I was recently contacted by the brand asking if I’d like to collaborate in return for a £20 gift card and at first my thoughts were ‘But what am I going to be able to buy for £20? thats not a lot for a whole outfit‘. Safe to say I was wronggg…
Black Betty sells the excess inventory of a variety of high street fashion brands for between 70-90% off the prices in store, meaning you can grab a mega bargain. Stock is uploaded daily onto the site so theres always new lines to choose from! You can also have a sneak peak into the lines that will be uploaded onto the site the next day, so if there’s anything you fancy you can bag it quickly!
So what did I buy? Although the items I bought are unfortunately no longer on the site, I thought I’d show you the outfit I got. I was drawn to this amazing satin black cami midi dress which has a beautiful frayed texture at the edges. The dress can be worn on it’s own or layered with a t-shirt or jumper, which is why I also opted for a white polo neck jumper to go wear with it. The jumper is perfect for this season, as it isn’t too thick! I also got a couple of gold jewellery items which were really pretty! All of which came just under £20! I then styled the outfit with my chunky platform vans and cat eye sunglasses for a casual/chic look.
For the price, the items were great value for money and I feel like the outfit looks a lot more expensive and high quality than the selling price on Black Betty. Good value for money all round! To make it even better the brand have created the code ‘ROBYN20’ which you can use to get an extra 20% off your order…winner
Overall, I was really impressed with the items I bought and definitely recommend checking them out, you never know they could become your favourite new retailer!
Until next time,
(*Disclaimer- this post is in collaboration with Black Betty and I was gifted a £20 voucher to purchase items from their site in exchange for this post. However all opinions are 100% my own and I was not paid to write this post)
